About Canada Canada is a very beautiful country. People from all over the world come to our country to visit our natural parks. There are 35,540,085 people living in Canada. Canada is the second largest country on planet Earth!

Canada has two official languages: English and French. We have two national sports: lacrosse during the summertime and hockey during the wintertime. Before Europeans came to North America, aboriginal peoples lived there for thousands of years. The capital city of Canada is Ottawa.

My Family There are five of us in my family: My father, my mother, my older brother, and my younger sister.

My father was a logger. He is now retired. My mother is a nurse at the local hospital. My older brother is an electrician. My younger sister is a student attending a local middle school. I am a university student. I study medieval history. Some day, I would like to be a teacher!

About Me I am twenty-two years old. My birthday is on September 11 th, I come from Vancouver, Canada. However, I was born in a small city on Vancouver Island.
