It’s all about relationships…  Thanks to our partnership w/OEII Healthy School Action Tool (HSAT) and Michigan Profile for Healthy Youth (MiPHY) are in the Comprehensive Needs Assessment (CNA) CSHSP is represented on the Michigan Continuous School Improvement group (Mi-CSI)

Enhancing the collaboration…  With OEII’s School Improvement Grant and CSHSP’s two new USED grants  We’ll be partnering to bring resources to bear on the state’s Persistently Lowest Achieving schools.

Building State Capacity Grant Will allow us to: Create MiPHY data toolkit for schools Enhance BullyFree Schools training design, manual, and survey Deliver training-of-trainers to regional social workers on Eliminating Barriers for Learning Revise Michigan Model for Health high school curriculum

Safe and Supportive Schools Grant Two prongs: Create data management system combining survey and incident data Fund and support schools in implementing programmatic interventions

Safe and Supportive Schools Grant Data Management Will allow us to: Add new surveys to current MiPHY system  school climate, bullying Provide training to schools on interpreting data to drive decision-making Selecting programmatic interventions tied to student health & safety and healthy school environment
