1. Acid Rain: polluted rainfall. Created by industry. 2. AIDS: Immune deficiency syndrome. Pandemic levels in the 1980’s-present. Mostly third-world countries. 3. Deforestation: Loss of forest and woodlands. 4. Desertification: deterioration of land and vegetation. Caused by overgrazing and diversion of water. 5. Developing Nation: Third World. Industrializing. Moving from Primary Economy. 6. Ethnic Cleansing: Elimination of an ethnic group. Holocaust, Armenians (1918), Bosnia (1998), Rwanda (1994). 7. Euro: Currency in the European Union.
