A Healthy Diet A healthy diet should contain grain, vegetables, fruits, milk, and meat & beans. The recommended calorie intake for females is 1,940 and 2,550 for men. How many calories are needed each day can vary greatly depending on lifestyle and other factors.

Fast Food Diet Fast food diets are quick and easy but really bad for your health. One Big Mac at McDonalds provides half of your daily value for saturated fats, 45% for total fats, and contains trans fats, which raises the risk of heart disease. Fast food raises bad cholesterol (LDL) and lowers (HDL) good cholestrol.

Effects of a Healthy Diet Proper body function and weight is maintained. Reduces the risk of developing high blood pressure and lower an elevated blood pressure. Also reduces risks of many chronic conditions, including heart disease, diabetes, obesity, and some forms of cancer.

Effects of Fast food Diabetes and obesity risks are increased Muscle loss and increased heart rate. Trans fats coming from fast foods clog arteries which increase risks of heart problems. Cholesterol can be greatly increased.

Summary The overall effects of dieting on fast food poses major health risks like diabetes, heart disease, high cholesterol, and obesity. A healthy diet reduces risks of all the health issues listed above.
