EMCP 2014 Planning for the EMCP week May 4-9, 2014

Sunday, May 4 Orientation: Tory Quad Rain Locations: – UC Galleria 1 pm: courses 200 – pm: courses 219 – pm: courses 237 – 257 Come at least 15 minutes early to mingle with your students and parents Discuss your activities for the week: course outlines; field trips, waiver forms, meet parents, etc. Formal guided tours: Tory Foyer at 2 & 3 pm

Monday, May 5 Missed their orientation? Students were informed to report first thing Monday morning in Tory Foyer (8:15 am) School bus drop off & pick up area – Prescott Res. Class time: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm. Classes must be dismissed at 3pm (no earlier or later) Attendance is checked twice a day, at 10 am & 2 pm. Lunch break  Courses 200 – 225 at 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm  Courses 226 – 257 at 12:30 pm -1:30 pm  All – Wednesday at 12:00 – 1:00 pm Collect T-shirt sizes – an ice-breaker activity?

Tuesday, May 6 T-Shirts will be distributed – To be worn on Wednesday Check names and spellings – For certificates

Wednesday, May 7 Lunch at 12:00 noon Activities in UC Galleria: – Draws and Prizes – Cotton candies; popcorn, balloons, etc. – Little Ray’s Reptile Zoo

Thursday, May 8 Certificates and Course Evaluations will be distributed to instructors. – Course evaluations will be collected the following day (Friday).

Friday, May 9 Ensure Course Evaluations and Certificates are completed – teaching portfolio Display area in Tory Foyer Post-EMCP Reception at 3 pm – At Mike’s Place??? – Submit receipts, attendance, evaluations, etc. – Drinks and refreshments will be served. – Note: Pays & reimbursements will be deposited on May 29 pay period.

Important Reminders Medical Concerns: refer to your class list (information section ) Computer Labs/Passwords – refer to your class list (information section) Field Trip Transportation: – School Bus; book by April 25; absolutely no private vehicles!
