Game One: Beginning Letter Sound: The student is shown pictures and has to match the pictures to the correct beginning letter down below. Game Two: Short Vowel Sounds: The student is shown a series of pictures and has to match the short vowel sound to the vowel letter below. Game Three: Long Vowel Sounds: The student will be shown a picture that he or she must match to the long vowel letter below. The students are asked to identify all the short letter vowels out of many words and place them in a bucket. The students can also pick a game where they have to identify all the long vowel sounds.
