2015 Level 1 Starting Your Journey  Consists of:  Who We Are Today  Core Values  Cadet Protection Basic Course  Equal Opportunity and Nondiscrimination  Intro to Safety  The Essentials- Basic Uniform, C&C, Grade, Basic Organization  Expectations  What’s Next? – Selecting a specialty track and starting to perform your duty in the squadron, how to get involved in ES, AE, CP, how to get enrolled in CAPOBC  Plan of Action – When they will complete the Next Step, getting the materials and permissions to start their squadron duties.

Plan of Action  Not a contract  Is a plan  Helps new members get an idea of what their future can look like  Helps you get to know them better  How to use

2015 Level 1 – The advantages  Get them involved in the squadron/program in a shorter period of time  Focused on what they need to know now and the next 6 to 9 months  Less demanding on the new member  Get them hooked on other parts of the program sooner  Should increase retention  Less demanding on the squadron  Provides the same info, at a level more relevant to them
