9Ministry of Interior, September 17, 2007 Illegal Migration “Illegal migration continues to be a source of concern although some operational results are being achieved. The total number of illegal entries of 1,076 foreigners in 2005 represents only a 3 percent increase on the previous year. However, there has been a significant increase in the number of minors and women illegally entering the country. The possible connection with trafficking in human beings is a matter for concern” (EC Progress Report, 2006)
