  Read much and watched a lot of movies as a child. First stories were inspired by what was seen and read  Graduated Durham’s Elementary School and later Lisbon Highschool  Maine University, English literature

  After finishing university, English teacher and a freelancer writter  Started sending short-stories to different publications in 1959  “The Glass Floor“

  King’s pen name  5 books, mainly from his adolescent years  „The Running Man“(1983) Richard Bachman

  Consists of 7 books  Written in 1970 – 2004  Is said to be his greatest work  “The Gunslinger“(1982), “The Drawing of the Three“ (1987), “The Waste Lands“ (1997), “Wizard and Glass“ (1997), “Wolves of the Calla“ (2003), „Song of Susannah“ (2004), “The Dark Tower“ (2004)  “The Wind Through the Keyhold“ (2012) The Dark Tower
