When you think of a funny Super-Bowl advertisement, what is the first thing that comes to mind?

Budweiser is owned by Anheuser-Busch of St. Louis and began brewing back in Anheuser-Busch accounts for 50% of all beer sold in the United States. Budweiser has been highly successful worldwide, particularly in Canada, Mexico and China due to partnerships with major local breweries.

Super-Bowl Advertising:  As of 2007, 30 seconds of air time costs roughly $2.6 million….but in return, the commercial reaches approximately 90 million viewers. Breaking Through the Clutter:  Their goal is to entertain and please the audience and associate the brand with positive feelings.

Previous Commercial Themes:  The Budweiser Frogs/Lizards  The Clydesdale Horses The Clydesdale Horses  The “Whassup” guys The “Whassup” guys Some Lesser Seen Commercials:  The Swear Jar The Swear Jar  The Apology Bot 3000 The Apology Bot 3000

So why has Budweiser been so successful? Well:  Their beer hasn’t gotten any better….  There are much better beers available….  Its not like people aren’t already aware of their presence within the market and around the world…. Perhaps its because:  They continue to appeal to people through humor.  They make it look like everybody loves their product.  They make drinking light beer okay!

So what will Budweiser do for Super-Bowl XLII?
