20 UA Background Founded in 1996 and is headquartered in Baltimore, Maryland. Engages in the design, development, marketing and distribution of apparel, footwear and accessories for men, women and children worldwide. The apparel comes in three types: compression, fitted and loose. Made to be worn in hot or cold temperatures.

21 UA Background continued.. The footwear includes: football, baseball, lacrosse, softball and soccer cleats. Slides, performance training footwear, running footwear, basketball footwear, and hunting boots. The accessories include: baseball batting, football, golf, and running gloves. Team uniforms, baby and kids apparel, eyewear and custom molded mouth guards, hats and handbags are also sold.

22 Why we invested in UA They sell products for pretty much every sport, which enables them to make much profit. They haven’t been around as long as their competitors, but they are slowly getting bigger. As you can see from the many commercials that they have made, sports teams they have sponsored, etc. They are creating more products to outdo their competitors.
