Is about… My section is about eating disorders and anorexia nervosa. Anorexia is an eating disorder where you don’t want to eat anything in order to lose weight. Anorexia is mostly common in teenage girls because they worry about their appearance and how they look to others.

Main Idea ♥ The main idea for my section is that anorexia is a very bad eating disorder

Details? Anorexia statistics show that most anorexics are young women. Only about 10% of all anorexics are male. Some symptoms of anorexia are dramatic weight loss, pretending to eat or lying about eating, and feeling fat besides being underweight. If your friend is having some of those signs you should contact someone. This is important to know because anorexia is serious and can lead to death

Story of an anorexic This is the story of a girl named Holly; she looked like a normal, well adjusted 15yr old sophomore who liked to do all the normal things like hang out with friends and talk on the phone. However, about a year ago, her weight dropped to 72 pounds. She lay in a hospital bed with unkempt hair, fragile limbs, and sunken eyes. She was seriously ill and diagnosed with anorexia.

I think this topic is sad because people who are already underweight think that they look fat and as they keep refusing to eat it can result in death. The key point is that you’re harming yourself and that can lead to serious, fatal conditions.

Summary The eating disorder anorexia nervosa is serious and is characterized by an intense fear of weight gain. Individuals anorexia nervosa believe they are fat besides being extremely underweight. If they don’t get help the consequences could be fatal.
