Tim Horton was born in Cochran, Ontario on January 12, In 1949 he was drafted to the Toronto Maple Leafs. He was quickly recognized for his very exceptional defensemen skills. He played 17 full season and 3 partial seasons for the Toronto Maple Leafs. The first Tim Hortons franchise opened in 1964 in Hamilton, Ontario. Serving only two products; coffee and donuts. On February 21, 1974 Tim Horton died in a tragic car crash. It was a big loss to his family, his team, and to the game of hockey. Click the Mouse to Continue
