DESCRIPTION Contribution Manager represents an upgrade to our contribution processing model and is the new way that we process contributions. Contribution Manager is a secure web based collaborative workspace that streamlines the contribution process between the client and T. Rowe Price and gives plan sponsors more time to focus on other tasks. Plan Sponsors/Payroll Administrators will review, modify and approve their contribution and loan repayment totals in Contribution Manager before funding is sent. No changes to the layout or how the file is sent are needed.

HIGHLIGHTED – FEATURES/BENEFITS Accessibility – Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and allows our clients to process transactions at their convenience. Automated instructions – Automates the creation of wire documentation. Real-time information – Generates notifications at critical points in the processing. Accountability – Provides a centralized history of contribution processing (including detailed change tracking). Relevant reporting – Allows for location-specific viewing and reporting. Environmentally friendly audit trail – Provides an easily accessible online record for each participant by type of money (including historical reporting) for up to 30 months.

HOW IT WORKS – High Level Step #1: Contribution file sent to TRP Step #2: TRP reconciles the file and Client receives notification Step #3: Client accesses Contribution Manager (to ‘submit’) 3a: Client can review TRP entered “corrected pp amounts”/historical notes 3b: Client enters “corrected participant amounts” and notes Step #4: TRP will prepare client’s “corrected participant amounts” for posting (if any) and Client receives notification Step #5: Client accesses Contribution Manager to approve the totals and wire documentation is created Step #6: Funding occurs and transactions are posted to the recordkeeping system Step #7: Reports are available in Contribution Manager

PARTICIPANT DETAIL WITH CORRECTED AMOUNTS TRP identifies and resolves differences between what is on the file and what will post to the recordkeeping system by entering “corrected participant amounts.” The moment that TRP is finished resolving all differences – an will be sent notifying you that the file has been “reconciled.” Transmittal form Recordkeeping system Notes Search and filter Historical Notes

HOW IT WORKS – SAMPLE s will be sent to all Contribution Manager users that have access to the specific plan/location GENERIC CONTRIBUTION PLAN

HOW IT WORKS – STEP 3 Step #3: Client accesses Contribution Manager The user logs into Contribution Manager via the Plan Sponsor Resource Center. TRP will work with you to set up the initial user’s access when Contribution Manager is rolled out to you. Thereafter, access to Contribution Manager works just like the other TRP sponsor tools: your authorized approver grants access to CM via the User Authorization System. The first screen presented is the Summary Screen which is the highest level screen within Contribution Manager.

SUMMARY SCREEN Enter actual payroll date Click to see participant records Summary of all participant records by Type of Money To add a participant to the file, you will need to enter a “note” into the Summary Screen. Notes

PARTICIPANT DETAIL AVAILABLE FOR UPDATES You can view all of the “corrected participant amounts” entered by TRP and review the explanatory notes in history record. If you need to make corrections, you can zero out or edit the appropriate value in the “corrected participant amounts”. Enter a corresponding note of explanation of the change (for future reference) Click submit button at bottom of page to submit corrected amounts and notes History records Enter new amounts Enter notes Participant funding request Search and filter

PARTICIPANT DETAIL ADDING A NOTE Click the magnifying glass to view/enter the notes

PARTICIPANT DETAIL WITH HISTORY POP-UP History is available for each participant record by clicking the plus sign next to their name.

HOW IT WORKS – STEP 4 Step #4: TRP will prepare client’s “corrected participant amounts” for posting (if any) and Client receives notification Shortly after you “submit” the file back to TRP, we will be notified. Once we have prepared all additional corrections for posting, you will receive notification that the file is ready for approval. SAMPLE GENERIC CONTRIBUTION PLAN

HOW IT WORKS – STEP 5 Step #5: Client accesses Contribution Manager to approve the totals and wire documentation is created Once you receive the notification, you can log into contribution manager and validate/approve your totals. If locations are segregated, the file will not be deemed to be approved until all locations have provided approval. At the point that the final approval is received, funding documentation will be created (wire/ACH debit).

SUMMARY SCREEN – HOW TO APPROVE Click submit button to send approval and/or create wire request Place check mark to approve Amount of money on wire request Adjustments to funding at source level (e.g. Forfeitures)

HOW IT WORKS – WIRE SAMPLE

These reports will be location specific (if that is the way that your user’s access is configured).

REPORT SCREEN Choose your plan number, payroll date, report format and click report name to run

REPORT EXAMPLE: PLAN SUMMARY REPORT IN EXCEL
