Lake Forest Emergency Plan Part II POST EVENT PROCEDURES

Introduction  This section of the Emergency Plan deals with post event procedures  Emergency Plan responsibilities  Command Post layout  Command Post resources  Staging Area  Triage Area  CERT operations

BOD Responsibilities  Activate & Deactivate plan  Approving authority for all assignments & commitments  Direct Property Manager for support operations  Collect, organize & report all data regarding Lake Forest status to outside authorities

Emergency Readiness Committee  Chairpersons are the operational Commanders when plan is activated  ERC members staff the operational desks at the command center  Monitor weather & keep BOD updated  Operate the communications center  Keep a tally of damage, injuries, and needs assistance for outside agencies and CERT

 Zone Leaders & Block Captains are assigned from the personnel at the Clubhouse after the event.  Block Captain responsibilities  Checks assigned homes for medical emergencies (911)  Fills out Damage Assessment Report  Brings report to Zone Leader at Command Center  Uses FRS radio or cell phone to contact Zone Leader

Zone Leaders Responsibilities  Give Damage Assessment Reports to ERC/BOD desk  Make copies of report & give to Damage Assessment desk & CERT  Standby for Zone assignments
