+ Ocean’s Importance The ocean has 328,000,000 cubic miles of seawater on earth! Just about 97% of all water on earth, is in oceans. The ocean accounts for percent of the total weight of earth. A lot of people enjoy the beauty of the ocean, but might not understand that there use of boating, construction, and ignoring protected areas can hurt the oceans and it’s resources to keep the ocean alive. We should keep planning the growth and development.

+ Purple Coral Purple Coral is a beautiful neon plant. The color is rare in most oceans. They are important because provide homes for other coral.

+ Manatees The manatees’ relatives is the elephant and the hyrax. The hyrax is a mammal. Manatees are herbivores. Usually, adult manatees are ten feet long and weigh about 800 through 1,200 pounds. Most manatees are found at shallow river, saltwater bays and coastal regions.

+ Algae The largest algaes are kelp and they can be to 200ft. Algae is the main food for fishes. They also make up paint, and stabilizer in foods.
