Career description and details  Multimedia Developers generate, manipulate and create graphics, images, animations, sound, text and video into integrated multimedia programs.  Multimedia Developers also must talk with clients to see what is required, investigate analyze and recommend appropriate equipment and software to achieve the clients' objectives.  Multimedia Developers can be self-employed, but many also developers are employed.  Multimedia Developers generate, manipulate and create graphics, images, animations, sound, text and video into integrated multimedia programs.  Multimedia Developers also must talk with clients to see what is required, investigate analyze and recommend appropriate equipment and software to achieve the clients' objectives.  Multimedia Developers can be self-employed, but many also developers are employed.

Skills  Multimedia Developers incorporate animation, sound, video, and database functions to create dynamic experiences.  Multimedia Developers must be adaptable to many different situations, creative and artistic, patient and attentive to detail, and must have technical aptitude.  To be successful in this career you do not have to be a proficient musician. Your success relies on being talented in computer programming and developing, even though the experience of being a musician would help you understand your clients better.  Multimedia Developers incorporate animation, sound, video, and database functions to create dynamic experiences.  Multimedia Developers must be adaptable to many different situations, creative and artistic, patient and attentive to detail, and must have technical aptitude.  To be successful in this career you do not have to be a proficient musician. Summary  The Multimedia Developer is a excellent career of choice if you love to be creative and innovative in today’s technological standards. This field is in great demand and pays well if you enter it. To be successful in this field you must love the work you do and always be dedicated to getting better.
