Socio-Economic Development Index (SEDI) Areas Regional Statistics Used Aim; Ranking provinces and NUTS II Regions w.r.t. their socio-economic development level Determination of provincial groups according to their development level Methodology; Principal Component Analysis, creating an index from many different indicators 61 indicators (demography, education, health, employment, competitiveness, finance, accessibility and other life quality indicators) have been used for 2011 SEDI Index
