Rules on ECO STYLE Logo Usage

Eco Style is the only eco related logo that can be used. We may no longer use Eco Innovation. Logo to be used only as a symbol of environmental management. Logo may only be used on materials that are eco-related and contain specific information about environmental management practices with the exception of business cards. Eco Style logo may NOT be used on promotional items, giveaways, etc. ECO STYLE Logo Usage Representing Toshiba’s environmental commitment

Logo may be used only as a symbol of environmental management. General Information: 1.These guidelines are an interim measure, subject to change with the finalization of the proposed FTC ‘Green Guides’ 2.Logo use is mandatory, consistent with “conditions of usage” listed below. 3.The Toshiba ECO STYLE logo is the only logo to be used as a symbol of Toshiba’s environmental management. Placement of logos representing 3 rd party certifications, such as ENERGY STAR or EPEAT, are exceptions to this rule. 4.Guidelines are uniform for all TAI Companies Conditions of Usage: 1.Logo may only be used on documents that contain substantive, specific, non-deceptive information about actual environmental management practices. 2.Except on business cards, logo must be accompanied by the following statement: “Representing Toshiba’s environmental commitment.” 3.Logo must not be used in conjunction with product marketing or product advertising. 4.All external uses of the logo, except for use on business cards, must be approved by a company’s legal department and the company’s Environmental Management Representative prior to each use. 5.Logo use must conform to Toshiba style guidelines for application of the mark (color, font, etc.) ECO STYLE Logo Usage

Examples of where it’s okay to use eco logo Environmental Report Include only on pages describing environmental management in CSR reports, annual reports, and corporate brochures. CSR Report Representing Toshiba’s environmental commitment

Websites Only include on pages about environmental management May not include on product pages

Press releases Eco Style logo should be placed on press releases that specifically detail the efforts being made to promote environmental management. Representing Toshiba’s environmental commitment
