Downloading, Saving & Editing

Downloading  Most job adverts or education courses will require that you download and edit a Word document as part of the application process.

Saving  It is important that if you are using a shared computer such as those in libraries or a classroom that you save your files in a secure place like a flash drive.

Editing  Software for computers can be expensive, programmes such as the latest version of Microsoft Office can cost between €100 - €400, this can be quite a high price if you are living on a budget or do not need to use it every day.  Fortunately there are FREE alternatives

Online Communication

 is one of the most useful applications of the internet. It is the quickest, easiest and cheapest way to keep in touch.
