Sentence fluency writing options There are 6 writing options. Choose ONE. Your story should be a page in length. Tomorrow you will receive directions on how to revise today’s story. Your original and revised stories are due on Thursday.

Writing options- choose one “The Day the Babies Ran the World.” Tell a story of when the world’s babies take over in power.

“The Eighth Dwarf” Create and tell about this unknown eighth dwarf.

“Excuse me, Rover, did you say something?” What would happen if your dog could suddenly talk?

“Life Under the City” Imagine that people live under your city. Describe what life is like there.

“Sherlock Holmes and the Case of the Missing Homework” Write a mystery story involving some missing homework.

“What do you mean, ‘The next stop is Mars?’” Imagine you are on a plane when suddenly you discover it is headed for Mars. Write a story about your experience.

Once again, your choices are.. “The Day the Babies Ran the World.” “The Eighth Dwarf” “Excuse me, Rover, did you say something?” “Life Under the City” “ Sherlock Holmes and the Case of the Missing Homework” “What do you mean, ‘The next stop is Mars?’”

Again, choose ONE. Write your story- about a page in length. Be ready to REVISE it for the trait of Sentence Fluency.
