ECC (Electronic Communications Committee) has just approved a Work Item to add support for Wideband technologies in 385MHz – 470 MHz –385 MHz – 390 MHz –385 MHz – 390 MHz would be the ideal choice for TETRA 2 –reserved for Nato –Sporadically used at present –users need to be very influential National regulators are responsible for allocating spectrum –Will Consider the local operating environment –Will Balance requirements from public safety, transportation, etc. Users need to exert their influence through the MOU and directly to their National regulators
