11) “For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. 14) “Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!”

Great joy from this great news? Joy to all people? Peace on earth? Kindness to men? A Savior? How is all this fleshing out? Latest headlines from Fox News:

Great joy from this great news? Joy to all people? Peace on earth? Kindness to men? A Savior? Where Is this great message happening here? Please don’t give me a watered down heart and flower message “well it’s happening in your heart”

THE MYSTERY!!!!! Eph 3:9) and to enlighten everyone about God’s secret plan – a secret that has been hidden for ages in God who has created all things.

10) The purpose of this enlightenment is that through the church the multifaceted wisdom of God should now be disclosed to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenly realms.

The real message of Christmas is about the gift and the completely new identity and race we now belong to! The Gift! John 4:10) Jesus answered and said to her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.”

Why is a gift needed? Rom 5:12) Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned–

Rom 5:17) For if by the one man’s (Adam) offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.) John1:11) He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him.

12) But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: A New Identity! The old Adam is dead, crucified with Christ. Since the cross, this new race of people are being prepared for a Kingdom and a new Heaven and earth.

2 Cor 5:17) Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. Eph 2:15) having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace,

Eph 4:24) and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness. Col 3:10) and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him,

2 Pet 3:13) Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells. 1 Cor 15:47) The first man was of the earth, made of dust; the second Man is the Lord from heaven.

48) -As was the man of dust, so also are those who are made of dust; and -as is the heavenly Man, so also are those who are heavenly. 49) And as -we have borne the image of the man of dust, -we shall also bear the image of the heavenly Man.

1 Cor 15:50) Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption. 51) Behold, I tell you a mystery : We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed–

54) So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.” That people, is the true message and mystery of Christmas!!!

Last time, we talked of a new race of people who are now being created under the new Adam =The Lord Jesus Christ.

For if by the one man’s offense many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many. 16) And the gift is not like that which came through the one who sinned. For the judgment which came from one offense resulted in condemnation,

but the free gift which came from many offenses resulted in justification. 17) For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, Think about it:

How sure is death because of Adam? How many times does it prove true? If death was sure 100% of the time and something else was much more sure, what would you conclude? It’s sad but many live in doubt of Christ’s finished work. Are you sure your going to die? Are you sure that in Christ your going to live? Remember: it is much more sure! 100%

19) For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous. John 1:29 The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! 2 Cor 5:19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, 1 John 2:2 And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.

Ever wonder what First fruits mean? Exodus 34:22 “And you shall observe the Feast of Weeks, of the firstfruits of wheat harvest, and the Feast of Ingathering at the year’s end.

1Cor 15:22) For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. 23) But each one in his own order: 1. Christ the firstfruits, 2. afterward those who are Christ’s at His coming.

Revelation 1:5 and from Jesus Christ – the faithful witness, the firstborn from among the dead, the ruler over the kings of the earth. To the one who loves us and has set us free from our sins at the cost of his own blood 6) and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
