10 Work related learning and work experience At all levels there is a requirement for 10 days work related learning Ideally in the context of the line of learning or activities closely relating to the Sectors activities (must be relevant at Advanced level) Work experience will provide additional opportunities for the demonstration of PLTS AQA-City & Guilds are sponsoring Growing Ambitions –

11 Level 1, 2 or 3 stand alone qualifications or requirement of the Diploma 60 GLH (levels 1 and 2) or 180 GLH (level 3) Teaching and supervision Project Assessment Objectives: Manage the project Use resources Develop and realise the project Review the project outcomes Project Qualifications

12 Project outcome should be appropriate to the topic and may comprise one or more of the following: Written report – compulsory for all learners Artefact CD/Video/DVD of performance or activities Multimedia presentation Journal of activities or events PowerPoint presentation Photographic record of project Project Qualifications

13 All learners must submit a written report for assessment: Foundation (Level 1): Approximately 1000 words if project consists solely of written work Approximately 250 words if other products form majority of project Higher (Level 2): Approximately 2000 words if project consists solely of written work Approximately 500 words if other products form majority of project Extended (Level 3): Approximately 5000 words if project consists solely of written work Approximately 1000 words if other products form majority of project Project Qualifications
