Company Program

Pre-Program Orientation for Participants

Can you imagine how awesome it would have been to be an entrepreneur in 1985?

All of the very coolest inventions were just waiting for someone to dream them up…

It must have felt like this…

Or like this…

“Looking back now it seems as if waves of settlers have since bulldozed and developed every possible venue, leaving only the most difficult and gnarly specks for today’s newcomers.” “Looking back now it seems as if waves of settlers have since bulldozed and developed every possible venue, leaving only the most difficult and gnarly specks for today’s newcomers.” (K.Kelly) difficult and gnarly specks for today’s newcomers.”

But Here’s The Thing…

If we could travel into the future and look back in time to today, we’d realize that…

most of the greatest products and services in people’s lives weren’t invented until after 2015!

crazy, no-one-told-me-it-was-impossible visionary to start grabbing the low-hanging fruit equivalent of the dot com names of 2014.” (Kelly) “all “All these miraculous inventions are waiting for that

“There has never been a better time in the whole history of the world to invent something new.”

“There has never been a better time with more opportunities, more openings, lower barriers, higher benefits/risk ratios, better returns, greater upside, than NOW.”

“You are NOT late.” Kelly July 27,2014

You’re right on time!

WELCOME TO

Company Program

is made up 9 PHASES -some phases last for one program session, and some last much longer

Each PHASE of the program represents an important step in the entrepreneurial process.

Company Program focuses on 3 THEMES … 1 2 3

Company Program requires teamwork…lots of teamwork…

All of us naturally gravitate to certain roles on a team. So, What’s your role? Use Belbin’s Nine Team Roles to find out…

PEOPLE-oriented Resource Investigator: Extroverted, enthusiastic, communicative. Explores opportunities, and develops contacts who can help the business. Team Worker: Cooperative, perceptive, diplomatic. Listens, builds, averts friction, and calms the waters. Coordinator: Confident, a good team leader. Clarifies goals, promotes decision-making, and delegates well.

ACTION-oriented Shaper: Challenging, dynamic, thrives on pressure. Has drive and courage to overcome obstacles. Implementer: Disciplined, reliable, conservative, and efficient. Turns ideas into practical actions. Completer-Finisher: Painstaking, conscientious. Seeks errors and omissions. Delivers on time.

THINKING-oriented Plant: Creative, imaginative, unorthodox. Able to solve difficult problems. Specialist: Single-minded, self-starting, dedicated. Provides knowledge and skills that are in rare supply. Monitor-Evaluator: Serious, strategic, discerning. Sees and evaluates options. Judges accurately.

So, who will you be?

Bring the following items to the first session:

1. Print, sign, and have your parent/guardian sign the 3 permission forms (attached to the )

2. Bring snacks, water, paper, pen, and, if you have one: your own mobile device

3. Create a quick introduction of YOU including a visual aid.

That’s it! That’s all there is…. except…. for ONE…. FINAL THING…

You’re going to have a GREAT time!
