Interview Process Interviews – April 8 at Drury Inn & Suites, 6170 Parkcenter Circle, Dublin, Ohio Candidates will be interviewed by a team ( One team will interview all candidates) Candidates must meet minimum standard score to be selected for Super Region Candidates will also take a knowledge test A maximum of 2 qualified candidates from each super region will be selected by scores at interviews. ( Rubric) Five to ten qualified candidates will be selected to run at large based on interview scores (Rubric) Rubric will be posted on March 20. Total points will be used in selection process Applicants will be notified by on March 22 if selected as a candidate for Super Region, Workforce or At Large for a interview

Taping Process All candidates will be taped at interviews. Taping will include the following: 3 minute speech 1 Fact Question 1 Thought Question 1 Situation Question Tapes of candidates selected for super regions and Workforce candidates will be posted on Web sites for local chapter viewing.

Voting Process Super Regions- Candidates video tapes will be posted on Web site. Workforce- (Education & Training, Culinary and Lodging) candidates video tapes will be posted on Web site Each chapter will be sent an with voting link given. Also voting link will be posted on Web site(s). Local FCS and Workforce chapters will vote between April 14- April 19, Workforce chapter vote for Workforce candidates only. (They are elected at large) FCS chapters vote by Super Regions (combined regions).

Voting Process April 21, 2014– Announce winners of Workforce and Super Region Elections April 24- State Leadership Conference At Large Elections DiSalle Building Auditorium The Super Region runner ups and qualified candidates for at large elections. Process- Each candidate will: Give speech to voting delegates 1 Fact Question 1 Thought Question 1 Situation Question Voting delegates cast ballot for five candidates Results announced Friday afternoon at the State Leadership Conference. If a Super Region doesn’t have candidates more state officers will be elected at large. ** Please note – Voting delegates will be admitted in special seating in the front of auditorium and other members may attend until all seats are filled. No standing will be permitted.

Survey Monkey Voting Process Chapter Voting- Must have correct Chapter ID number or ballot will discarded. Questions- Decisions Can chapters split their votes? Yes, because each voting delegate cast a separate vote. Would it be possible to split their votes? Yes, each voting delegate would vote separate Can you guard against them voting too many times? Yes, I can move everything to a spreadsheet which would total how many times a chapter voted. What if they voted too many times? All votes are thrown out from that chapter If more than vote, you may need to vote from a different computer.
