Presented by Lynn Nguyen

What is a blog? “A website that contains an online personal journal with reflections, comments and often hyperlinks provided by the writer.” What is a forum? “A discussion group on the Web about a particular topic.”

 You are an employee of the City of Santa Ana. Content should be relevant to your work not your personal life.  Our blogs and forum discussions are published online.  A personal voice is very important.  All grant participants are required to blog and participate in the forum at least once a week.

DO NOT…  Post material that is unlawful, abusive, invasive of another’s privacy, or obscene to a reasonable person.

Examples of useful blog posts: “Hey guys, check it out! This website is awesome,“Librarians in the 21st Century”. What do you think? rarian.htm” rarian.htm “I keep hearing the phrase Library 2.0. Does anyone know what this mean?”

FORUMS Seeds to Sprouts (Library Pages) Sprouts to Saplings (Library Clerks) Saplings to Young Trees (Library Management Interns) Redwoods (Project Mentors) Bees (Affiliates & Partners)

 Every week there will be a subject for discussion.  All participants will be required to comment on the subject on a weekly basis.  Every Monday a new subject will be posted on the forum.
