Definitions  A URL also known as a Universal (or Uniform) Resource Locator.  It is the global address of any document s and resources on a World Wide Web page.  A blog is a web site on which an individual or group of users record opinions, information, etc. called “posts” on a regular basis What is a URL ?What is a blog?

4. Applications & Advantages of a URL Applications:  It provides a means of locating the resource by describing its "primary access mechanism (e.g., its network location)". Advantages:  it allows you to find the information that you want.  It codifies items attached to it so it can easily be accessed or downloaded.

Applications & Advantages of a Blog Applications:  Blogs can be used to display an artist‘s work.  Blogs can be used to enhance the educational experience of students who use them as reflective learning journals Advantages :  Ownership – You own your blog content for life. Its address is a unique URL that you create &own.  Control- You have complete control over privacy settings, advertising, functionality, accessibility along with the look and feel of your blog.
