Index 4 Postsecondary Readiness Purpose is to emphasize the importance for students to receive a high school diploma that provides the foundation necessary for success in college, the workforce, job training programs, or the military; and the role of the elementary and middle schools in preparing students for high school.

Index 4 Graduation Score: Combined performance across the graduation rates from either the 4-Year or 5-Year Graduation rate Methodology: 3 Step Process 1.Determine the number of students who completed High School (graduated) in 4 years (2012): RHSP/DAP Graduates for All Students and race/ethnicity student groups 2.Determine the number of students who completed High School (graduated) in 5 years (2011): RHSP/DAP Graduates for All Students and race/ethnicity student groups 3.Compare 4 & 5 year graduation rate.
