Presentation transcript:

Building new skills, fresh ideas and a different perspective

Many young people lack the knowledge about job opportunities, how to apply for jobs, how to write a good CV and a good application. There is a real mismatch between employers’ expectations of young people during the recruitment process and young people’s understanding of what is expected of them, particularly when it comes to presentation and preparation. Employers are finding it difficult to assess young people with limited work experience and young people find it difficult to ‘market’ themselves to employers. As a result many young people struggle to make the transition from education to work.

SuitableNot Suitable
