Project Specific Information

Project Goals Safety – Improve rural intersection safety. Quality – Design and construct a quality project with quality personnel. Innovation – Allow innovative ideas to improve quality. – Add additional intersections as more funding becomes available. Stakeholders – Create a quality product that gains acceptance by local government partners. Schedule and Budget – Complete initial (20) intersections by November 1, 2013 – Complete the project within budget.

Submitter Experience Experience with designing signals, signing, and lighting on highway projects. Experience with construction of signals, signing, and lighting on highway projects. Experience with the design of similar RICWS systems. Experience with the construction of similar RICWS systems. Experience as a prime contractor on transportation projects with a contract value of at least $2 million.
