Introduction to a pit installation The scale to be shown is an Emery/Winslow Hyweigh Platform is 70’x10’ in a 6’ deep pit The foundation has 2 10’ approaches and has a 16” wall on the traffic side. The scale utilizes conventional I-beam structure with a 6” reinforced deck. Features: Hydrostatic load cells that are immune to water and lightning 75K load cells requiring only 6 in the entire scale. 27” main girders Very clean design with few components under the deck and no electronic components. 10 year load cell Warranty

Wall Construction Walls being formed 12” left wall and a 16” right wall where the traffic flows and truck may turn off early Boxes are also formed for the load cell piers
