ignore Ignore means to NOT pay attention.

ignore My mother told me to ignore my baby brother’s crying. Would you ignore a phone ringing? Would you ignore a T.V. commercial?

dangerous Dangerous means something that is likely to cause harm or injury.

dangerous Alligators are dangerous animals. Would it be more dangerous to jump rope or jump off a trampoline? Is it dangerous to ride your bicycle without a helmet?

dangerous *Name some things that might be dangerous. * What types of dangerous things are shown on television? *What animals do you know about that are dangerous?

style Style means you have a certain way of doing something.

style The teacher told the student to practice his reading style. My running style is slow and steady.

style *Name someone whose singing style you like. * If someone reads slowly and never changes his or her voice, then would the person’s reading style be interesting? Why or why not?

passion Passion means you do something with energy and strong feelings.

challenge Challenge means you ask someone to be in a contest.
