How to ride a Horse In Five Steps By Suzanne Randolph

Step Two Get a saddle pad and place it in a forward direction in the center of the horses back. Get saddle and double check that your saddle pad is still straight. Place saddle on the back of the horse. Buckle the girth tight so the saddle will stay on.

Step Three Get bridle and place the reigns around the neck of the horse. Carefully take off bridle and place the bit so the horse can easily put it in their mouth. Place hands above ears and out the headpiece over them. Buckle all the buckles loosely so the horse is comfortable, but tight enough the bridle stays in position.

Step Four Make sure your hard hat is nice and tight and boots have a heel so your foot does not go through the stirrup all of the way.
