Use of AquaBella Microbial Products to Reduce Biochemical Oxygen Demand in Vineyard Wastewater Treatment Ponds 1

Introduction AquaBella Organic Solutions (ABOS) is a Green Technology company that makes microbe-based products for both water (AquaBella ® ) and soil (TerraBella ® ) ABOS products contain no GMOs or regulated chemicals ABOS products contain many different types of bacteria which results in the products being effective in a wide variety of conditions including a broad range of pHs, temperatures and soil types

AquaBella ® For treatment of salt and freshwater environments such as lakes, ponds, and aquariums; as well as wastewater streams Contains nitrifying, denitrifying and heterotrophic bacteria Reduces Biochemical Oxygen Demand in wastewater ponds without significantly altering pH by breaking down and removing organic materials Proprietary manufacturing process results in a large number of microorganisms capable of many beneficial activities to be stably integrated into our products

What is in AquaBella ® ? Type of Microbe# of CFUs per milliliter (colony-forming units) Aerobic (with oxygen)80 million Anaerobic (without oxygen, this is important for waste- water ponds with little/no Dissolved Oxygen) 120 million

How is AquaBella ® Different? AquaBella® ProductsOther Enzyme Products A proprietary blend of dozens of different strains of bacteria that thrive in a single formula Consist of anywhere from 1 to 5 different strains of bacteria that fight for dominance in a single formula Liquid formula that is fast acting with high concentrations of bacteria Powder or liquid formula that is slow acting with low concentrations of bacteria Cost effective solution that eliminates nitrates, reduces phosphates and breaks down organic solids with a single product Typically a “single benefit” product that requires multiple applications to achieve similar results

Valley Gate Vineyard Wastewater Pond State regulations require BOD* to be < 50 mg/L before wastewater release/reuse BOD was >230 mg/L before treatment with AquaBella 2 weeks after AquaBella treatment, BOD was 8 mg/L 2 months after treatment, BOD remained low (10 mg/L)

Reata Vineyard Wastewater Pond Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) was > 850 mg/L before AquaBella treatment (Sept. 28) AquaBella was added on Oct weeks after AquaBella treatment (Oct. 27), BOD was 160 mg/L 2 months after treatment, BOD was 43 mg/L, and Dissolved Oxygen (DO) increased from 2 mg/L to 9 mg/L pH remained stable throughout the treatment process

AquaBella ® Products AquaBella ® is available in the following packaging:  32 oz. bottle - 120,000 gal.  Case of 12 bottles millon gal.  30 gallon barrel million gal.  55 gallon barrel - 25 million gal.
