ESL Students… There are 3 ESL students in the class. Two are from Russia and one from China. There are 3 ESL students in the class. Two are from Russia and one from China. These 3 children complete 2 ESL classes a week, with an ESL teacher and also receive constant help from Mrs. Gibson These 3 children complete 2 ESL classes a week, with an ESL teacher and also receive constant help from Mrs. Gibson They socialise well with the other class members and participate in many classroom activities. Gifted Students… There are 3 gifted students in the class They are constantly finished early and always looking for more work to be done. Mrs. Gibson always provides them with extra work to be done and extra homework also. These 3 students are also extremely creative, thus creative arts is often included in their activities.

The School… The school these children attend is Waverley Public School, a very small school of 125 students Due to the small size, the school has a close community feel and the students benefit immensely by getting to know other students within the school The principle of the school is also the year 6 teacher, and there is no assistant principle.
