Purpose of Grants Provide funding for programs and services that support the Oklahoma State Department of Education’s goal of ensuring that all children graduating from an Oklahoma high school are college and career ready by the year 2020.

Purpose of Grants  Examples of activities that comprise awarded programs include, but are not limited to:  Literacy-related programs for students and/or educators  STEM-related programs for students and/or educators  Professional development for teachers and administrators  Implementation of Oklahoma Academic Standards  Data to Differentiate Instruction  Best Practices for Effective Teaching, Leadership, and Professional Growth  Use of Accountability and Data to Drive Instruction
