How are we going to narrow the gap?  Strategies to support students with narrowing the Achievement Gap  Effectively implement the Early Intervention Program  The EIP program will offer an additional 45 minute segment of reading support to low performing students grades K-5. The students will be instructed in a smaller setting utilizing research based strategies.  Effectively implement the Flexible Learning Program  The FLP program will utilize a rubric to identify low performing students in mathematics. The identified students will receive research based interventions that will support their identified deficits.

How are we going to narrow the gap?  Strategies to support students with narrowing the Achievement Gap  Identify students who have mastered math standards on pre-assessments and place in Advanced Content Math.  Effectively implement an Acceleration Program  The Acceleration Program will offer an additional 45 minute segment of reading and math to high performing students grades K-5.  Effectively utilize formative and summative assessments to make informed decisions on instructional practices.

How are we going to narrow the gap?  Strategies to support students with narrowing the Achievement Gap  Analyze pre/post common assessment test data  Analyze data to determine appropriate groupings for the Early Intervention Program, Acceleration Program and Flexible Learning Program

How are we going to narrow the gap?  Strategies to support Teachers with narrowing the Achievement Gap  Collaborative Weekly Grade Level Meeting  Teachers will focus on data analysis, instructional strategies to increase student achievement, create common assessments aligned to CCGPS and analysis student work.  Teachers will plan data driven lessons that will focus on meeting the needs of all learners through differentiated instruction.  Content Planning Meetings  Teachers will focus on vertical alignment through discussion of content standards, knowledge of what is being taught in other grade levels, identifying gaps between grade levels and what research base strategies can be implemented to close the skill gap.

How are we going to narrow the gap?  Strategies to support Teachers with narrowing the Achievement Gap  To Ensure Teachers are teaching standards with fidelity  To implement and foster a meaningful and informative professional learning community.  To implement the TKES process with fidelity.  To monitor and provide feedback of lesson plans  To emphasis the importance of researched based instructional strategies, planning, and academically challenging environment
