Church Lench Class 3 School Councillors

 Our school is in the village of Church Lench which is 6 miles outside Evesham. Most of the people from our school come from the Lenches and Hipton Hill. This is the front of school.

How are our classes arranged? Our classes are arranged so that Class 1 has Year 1 and Reception. Class 2 has Year 2 and 3.Class3 has Years 4 and 5. We have drawers to keep our reading books in and homework books. This photo shows Father’s Day lunch. In our school there are 59 children.

Our Forest School is only a few minutes walk from school. We split up the classes into two groups. We go on a Friday afternoon.

Claire is our Forest School Leader.

We go on lots of trips like this one to the Black Country Museum.

We have discos which are organised by our PTA called FoCLS.

When it’s Easter an Easter Chick brings our Easter eggs.

We have a great football team!

We go to Church for the Flower Festival, Harvest Service, Easter and Christmas Services.

Each Governor comes into school to tell us about themselves. This Governor likes bike racing.

We grow our own vegetables.

We like to do things with the village like the scarecrow competition. We came 2 nd !

We have healthy hot school dinners. Our cook is called Julie.

This was our Wild West Summer Fair. It was great!

Mrs Freer organises lots of visitors. This is a storyteller.

Every year we hatch out chicks.

The teachers organise lots of fun days like World Book Day.

There are lots of clubs like dance, tennis, netball, rock-it-ball, multiskills, cooking and imagineering.

We like to help charities and do lots of fund raising. Here is Harry at the Children in Need Day covered in spots!

This is one of the races at out Sport’s Day.

Everyone is in the end of year play. Last summer we did ‘Treasure Island’.

 The children are very friendly and well behaved.  Our teachers are kind.  There are lots of exciting things going on.  The Church is only across the road.  Our lessons are great.  School dinners are tasty.  We have lots of visitors.
