 Thanks Rebecca Hartz!  Rebecca chaired the Nature Center Fence Painting project not only once… but 3 times. She also chaired McCrea BINGO this week and I can always count on her to execute everything smoothly.

 Weds, Oct 20  7-8 pm  Play BINGO with nursing home residents!  (It gets pretty intense…)  Chair- Disrea Wright!

 Thurs, Oct 21  Prep - 1:30 – 4:00 (2 brothers, Chair – Doug Bowers)  Serve/Clean up - 4:00 – 6:30 (Chair – Cori LaMarco)

 Echoing Ridge – assisted living for people with developmental disabilities.  Thurs, Oct 21  6-7:30 pm  Help with a birthday party! Games, music, cake, fun stuff!  Chair this!

 Saturday, Oct 23  9 am – 11 am  2 brothers  Pathway has a family home in Canton that houses 4 foster boys.  They need help with yardwork – raking, weeding, fertilizing, cool stuff!  Chair – Lauren Frost

 Sat, Oct 23  All day (10-3:30) or afternoon shift (12:30 to 3:30)  Will be entertaining Alumni’s kids and escorting them to different places.  Need 7-10 volunteers  Must get background check. This is free – stop by Chapman to education dept. M-F from 9 to 11 am and takes 5 mins. Need drivers license, PP card, and SSN.  Indicate t-shirt size on sign up and which shift youre taking!

 Sat, Oct 23  Will be assisting alumni with seating.  Must be presentable! Wear your Mount gear, but don’t be a slob. Because we are not slobs.  10:15 am – 1 pm if you are staying for lunch!  10:15 am – 11:30 am if not.

 Sun, Oct 24  12 – 2 pm  5 brothers, Chair – Cate Rogers

 Sunday, Oct 24  12:00 pm – 3:00 pm  Pitch in to beautify Cope Courtyard – dedicated to the memory of Dan Miner.  Lunch will be served at 12, clean up at 1!

 Sun, Oct 24  9:00 am at McKinley HS in Canton  Chair – Erica Seabrook  Must join the team to walk for hours! (Only 5 people on our team right now!)  OR help with TAKE DOWN/CLEAN UP!  9:45 am

 Thurs, Oct 28  7:00 pm  We will be serving pizza, cookies, and punch to the residents and getting down with our bad selves!  Chair – Katlyn Jeffreys

 Fri, Oct 29  Set up (9-11:30 am)  Game prep and party (11:30-3:30)  Trick or Trunk (3:00 pm) - Decorate trunk of car and residents and their families will come around to collect candy!  Indicate times you’ll be there on sign up.  Please volunteer your car for Trick or Trunk if you’re attending at that time!

 Sat, Oct 30  Run/walk for hours! $20 to run, $10 to walk  Registration begins at 9 am  LET’S MAKE THE APO BROTHER (or pledge!) 5K WIN A TRADITION!  Help with logistics of the race! Will need to be there at 8 am  We need at least 20 volunteers to help BeJustice out!  Questions – ask Taylor Sowers!

 Sun, Oct 31  3:30 pm – 6ish  At Southside Church of God in Alliance  Decorate the trunk of a car and pass candy out from it!  Have to have 2,000 pieces of candy per car.  Kids from dangerous neighborhoods come around “trunk or treating” and flaunt their stuff in a safe environment!  Donate a bag of candy to APO and get a half hour of service (max – no matter how much candy you donate)!  Chair – Christina Burdick  Need trunks to decorate! Volunteer your car by indicating on sign up sheet!

 Monday, Nov 1  7 pm (?)  APO Team Captain – Katlyn Jeffreys!  $5 per person (forget the footlong!)  Bring addresses of people and write letters to raise funds for St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital.  Party later in the year to celebrate the amount of $ raised by UMU!  HAVE ENOUGH MEMBERS ON OUR TEAM BUT NEED ONE OTHER PERSON TO BE A TEAM CAPTAIN!
