There Is That CRA Thing Again…  Banks can receive Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) credit for supporting your WtW program Operating grant Volunteering on loan committee Teaching financial education classes Providing checking and savings accounts to clients

Ways to Work - CRA Connection  Bank’s interest in WtW: Financial education Volunteer loan committee Exposure/visibility from any involvement  Need to be able to leverage this interest to secure key program resources: Operating grants Donated office space

Still Unclear About the WtW- CRA Connection?  You don’t need to be a CRA expert  Banks understand their CRA needs  What you need to know: The opportunities for a bank to get involved with your WtW program What the bank’s involvement will cost in terms of time and resources What you need from the bank (grants, volunteers, office space, etc.)
