The Recruiting Process Coach Peluso

Control the Process You Need Your Questions Answered Questions to Ask Coaches: Does the school offer me the opportunity to explore several academic options? How many hours a day/week will the lacrosse program require? Will the Lacrosse program support my academic efforts with study hall and tutoring? How much does the school cost? What is the program’s style of play? How many players will be returning lettermen on the Lacrosse Team? What kind of scholarships (academic or other) are available to me? How effective is the school/academic program in job placement? How effective is the school/academic program in graduate school placement? What do you seem my future role with the program?

Control the Process You Need to ANSWER your own Questions Questions to Ask YOU: Academic reputation and rating of school? Does the school offer my major of choice? Will my parents be able to see me often and attend games? Do I think I would enjoy playing for the coach that recruited me? Do I feel comfortable with the campus and surrounding community? Do I feel comfortable with the size of the campus and the student body? How do I feel about the athletic facilities? Did the coach provide an informative and personalized campus visit? Did the coach/academic program address my specific needs during the recruiting process? Has the coach addressed my future role with the program and am I happy with this role? What do present/former students say about their college experience? Does my high school coach believe I can compete at this level? Is this a place where I would like to spend four years?
