Ask, Seek, Knock Matthew 7 7 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.

Persistence

Luke 18 1-3 Jesus told them a story showing that it was necessary for them to pray consistently and never quit. He said, “There was once a judge in some city who never gave God a thought and cared nothing for people. A widow in that city kept after him: ‘My rights are being violated. Protect me!’ 4-5 “He never gave her the time of day. But after this went on and on he said to himself, ‘I care nothing what God thinks, even less what people think. But because this widow won’t quit badgering me, I’d better do something and see that she gets justice—otherwise I’m going to end up beaten black-and-blue by her pounding.’”

Don’t give up praying Grow in your prayer life Prayer keeps the soil moist Pray what you can believe God can do

Matthew 7:9 “Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? 11 If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!

2. God is our Father He is good, generous and gives good gifts.

3. The Golden Rule Matthew 7: 12 So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.

Our response

Communion is a unique time for Christ followers to celebrate and remember Jesus together. If you love Christ we invite you to join us in partaking of the bread and juice as Jesus commanded us to do. The bread and juice represent the body and blood of Christ sacrificially given for you. Allow them to speak to you of Christ's love and prayerfully renew your commitment to live for Him. We encourage you to thoughtfully and prayerfully eat and drink in memory of Christ in your own time.
