The Mission The Bloomfield Early Childhood Center Understands children and how to encourage growth and learning. Involves parents and views them as our partners in their child’s education. Provides meaningful, challenging cognitive & literacy enriched environments.

We, ~ Nurture and develop learning by focusing on the whole child within all the developmental domains: Cognitive, Personal/Social, Communication, Motor and Adaptive as it relates to self care and personal responsibility. Enable all children to actively participate through play. Encourage our children to play, make choices and solve problems in a variety of child centered learning situations.

And ~~ We are able to provide special teaching for children with identified needs. We guide children to learn to work independently and cooperatively in a group; and most importantly to develop a respect for diversity.

The BECC Staff The teachers have dual certification: Early Childhood Early Education/ Special Education. The Readiness Class is staffed with a dual certified teacher and a C.D.A with an Associate Degree. The classrooms operate within a 2:12 ratio of staff: students.
