How to Coach: The Simple Coaching Model 1. Clarify the Agenda What’s on your mind today? Ask Open-Ended Questions to dig for more information Be naturally curious! Ask: What would you like to take away from our conversation today? 2. Seize the Coachable Moment Coach listens for inconsistencies, energy shift, assumptions, limiting perspectives Coach asks Open-Ended Questions to remove blocks

How to Coach: The Simple Coaching Model 3. Invite the Shift Listen for positive shifts in energy, perceptions, direction Acknowledge those shifts with the “client” Ask: What has happened? How do you feel now? 4. Frame the Masterpiece Guide through next steps, goals, strategies Closing Question What was most valuable for you today?

Coaching Sessions: Just Do It! Get into Groups of 3, Identify who will be the: Coach Client Primary Observer

The Simple Coaching Model 1. Clarifying the Agenda - Opening question:  What's on your mind today?  Then, the coach digs for more information around the agenda to help the client and coach better understand the agenda.  BE CURIOUS! Second Question to Clarify the Agenda -  What would you like to take away from our discussion today?  2. Look for Coachable Moments - limiting beliefs, perceptions, blocks 3. Inviting the Shift - new perspectives for client 4. Framing the Masterpiece  - Action steps 5. Closing Question - What was most valuable for you today?
