+ Open up a notability document Label it “Alfred Noyes.” Leave some space at the top of the page (enough to write / type 4 – 5 sentences). Make a T-chart that takes up the rest of the page.

+ A little background information Go to Type Alfred Noyes into the search bar. Click on Biography SKIM – through the biography. You can skip over the sections on his books. WRITE – important events, ideas, or pieces of his life that may have influenced his work.

+ READ and ANALYZE Choose 2 of his poems (other than the “The Highway Man”). Write the title of each poem on the t-chart. Read the poem 2 times and keep track of: Figurative language that he uses. Topics he writes about. Themes that you see. Tone and Mood of the poetry
