FCA Sports Ministry Targets Coaches –Help coaches to develop into spiritual leaders for their team as well as expert teachers of their sport –Support coaches’ families as they deal with the demands and stress of the coaching lifestyle Athletes –Spiritual growth through team devotions and outreach –Physical development through practice and games –Leadership development through opportunities for older advanced athletes to support younger athletes (learn to use talents for Christ) Parents –Help parents learn and apply spiritual principles as they support activities and cheer their team

FCA Sports Segments Camps and Clinics –FCA sport-specific branding (e.g. FCA Volleyball, FCA Soccer) –For athletes at all levels –Clinics (one-day event) and Camps (multi-day event) –Work in cooperation with FCA camp ministry Recreation Leagues –FCA sport-specific branding –Typically for beginner to intermediate athletes –Practices and games at one or two local facilities –Generally in close partnership with a church or other ministry organization Travel “Club” Teams –Team branding (e.g. Axiom Skateboarding, SKY Volleyball) –Typically for advanced athletes –Compete within the framework of the relevant national or regional sport-specific organizations (e.g. AAU, YBOA, USVBA) –FCA owned and managed under sport-specific leadership

Clinics Defined as being 1-3 hours long with a limited amount of time spent with the athlete Designed for athletes at all levels FCA sport-specific branded (e.g. FCA soccer, FCA baseball, FCA volleyball, etc.) –Ministry Elements * Coaches * Players * Parents –Fundraising Opportunities

Camps Defined as being 1-5 days long therefore, allowing a considerable amount of time spent with the athlete Designed for athletes at all levels FCA sport-specific branded (e.g. FCA soccer, FCA baseball, FCA volleyball, etc.) –Ministry Elements * Coaches * Players * Parents –Fundraising Opportunities

Travel “Club” Defined as spending several months with the athletes (typically, a travel season is 3 to 8 months long) Travel teams will be “branded” sport specific, i.e.: Axiom skateboarding / SKY volleyball Generally speaking, this is for the advanced athlete competing within the framework of the relevant national or regional sport-specific organizations (e.g. AAU / YBOA / USVBA / GYSA / etc.) These teams will be FCA “owned and managed” under the sport-emphasis leadership or volunteer board / leadership teams –Ministry Elements * Coaches * Players * Parents –Fundraising Opportunities * club fee
