UNIVERSITY IN NUMBERS  students in Higher School programs (“Fachhochschule”)  students in UNI level programs  post graduate students  employees teaching staff and researchers  300 Million Euro annual budget

STUDY PROGRAMS We offer study programs in all fields of science and arts:  158 UNDERGRADUATE programs  117 POSTGRADUATE programs  17 undergraduate and 13 master’s degree in 2005/2006(Bologna)

INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS We are very active in international research and teaching programs. In this year we are participating in:  TEMPUS programs, Jean Monnet, Joint Masters  More then 110 research projects within the 6 th European Framework  And are intensively preparing for participation in the 7 th European Framework

QUALITY  We strive to be amongst the best European universities and are currently within the top 400 on the Times Higher Education Ranking  The Faculty of Economics has been recently recognized as one of the top 90 business schools in the world – EQUIS Accredited  Between 2002 and 2005 we published papers in reviews that are registered by the Web of Science.  We have an internal system of continuous quality control

THE BOLOGNA REFORM  Approximately 50% of our programs were modified in accordance with Bologna standards.  3 faculties (Economics, Social Sciences, Public Administration) have already implemented new Bologna programs

STUDENT MOBILITY  Approximately 1200 students annually participate in exchange programs with EU and non EU member states.  Some of our programs are already carried out in English. More English programs will follow in the upcoming years.
