Idiots guide to Databases

Creating a table To create a table open up Microsoft Access and open up a new blank database. Next fill in the fields with various criteria of your choice. Then fill in the database with your information

Creating a Query To create a query, select ‘create query using wizard’ the select the fields you wish to query. Then continue to go through the options until you see your query make sure you view it in design view. You can select the specific fields you want to use. Also you can type in the criteria in the fields below.

Creating a form Firstly click ‘Create form by using wizard’ and select the fields you wish to use and again continue through the options and click finish. Then you will have a form for your database with all the fields and can browse through.

Creating a report Once more do the same and click ‘create report using wizard’ and go through the options. Then you will be faced with your report. Which will be laid out neatly and tidily.
