Presentation transcript:

 If the uterus has multiple openings, it can cause the urinary bladder to get multiple openings as well.  If the uterus has multiple openings, it can also cause peritonitis which is an inflamed, infected lining of the abdomen. If peritonitis occurs it can be painful, dangerous, and necessary to get surgery.

 If the uterus has multiple openings the intestines can have multiple openings as well. A section of the intestine will have to be removed, and a temporary or permanent colostomy can be placed in to your abdomen. This can cause nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, fever, blood in stool, peritonitis, and death if not treated quickly.

 Ever since abortion was legal in the United States, breast cancer has increased by 50%.

 After someone has gotten an abortion they are 8 to 20 times more likely to have an ectopic pregnancy. An ectopic pregnancy occurs outside the uterus. If it’s not quickly discovered, an ectopic pregnancy breaks, and you can bleed to death if you do not have an emergency surgery.  It is shown in statistics that getting an ectopic pregnancy after an abortion has a 30% increase and 160% increase after two or more abortions. There has been a major increase in ectopic pregnancies ever since abortions was legalized in the U.S.

If you have an abortion:  You will have a higher percentage in bleeding the first three months of your future pregnancy.  You have higher chances in not having a normal delivery in future pregnancies.  Your next child would be most likely to die in the first couple months of life.  Your next child will be three to four times as likely to die in his couple months of his first year.  Your next child would have a low birth weight.  Your next child could be born prematurely with several dangerous and costly problems.

 You may start getting a mild fever and sometimes death can even occur when there’s an infection because of the abortion.

 There has been a high increase of cervical damage from the abortion procedure. It has raised the number of miscarriage 30-40% in women who has gotten abortions.  1 out of 20 women agonize from this during an abortion. This can cause you to have 50/50 chance in miscarrying your next baby if it is not treated well.

o Women agonize of uterus openings in between 1 out 40 and 1 out of 400 abortions. This can lead you to a high chance in getting peritonitis, which is similar to having a shattered appendix.

Placenta previa is when your baby’s placenta lies over the exit from the uterus, which has to be delivered before the baby. Most of the time it causes the baby to die. Placenta previa occurs more often after a women has an abortion.

 After having an abortion, some women may suffer from mental and psychological issues. They may start having dreams of abortion experience, avoidance of emotional attachment, relationship issues, disturbance while asleep, feeling guilty about living, memory loss, suicidal thoughts, and depression.  This may last days to even years.

 If the doctor leaves any parts of the baby placenta, umbilical cord or amniotic sac in you, it may cause pain, bleeding, and a low fever. Other than antibiotics and hospitalization, your going to need surgery to remove the rest of the parts.

 From your abortion you may develop disseminated intravascular coagulopathy, known as DIC which means that your blood doesn’t clot and you will bleed nonstop. DIC can be very difficult to treat and also can lead to death.

 Your abortion may be unsuccessful due to the fact that the baby is developing in your fallopian tube. Unluckily this tubal pregnancy ruptures along and you will have to go through an emergency surgery to save your life. To make sure you do not have an ectopic pregnancy every women in their first trimester should have an ultrasound.

 There’s higher rate of complication when you are teenage women. Even though there has been evidence that in 15 to 17 year old women, have better and physically healthy births than in women of older ages.
